I was in the competition arena yesterday. After battle starts, our team (3 War, 1 monk) quickly eliminate 3 of them, 4 of us charged to the last one, which is W/R. He did not participate in the initial battle with other 3 at all, just stand far behind. Once we were getting close to him, he started to run with Storm Chase, Charge and Sprint over the arena. He did not rez his teammate, all he did try to annony people and make everyone leave so he can earn his faction by winning the match.

One of teammate said he would teach him a lesson by leaving the his char there, and use 2nd account to pm him. Not sure about end result is, but this is not the fun for most players in ARENA.

Rangers? Pin Down?

Elementalists? Knock-downs, Meteor, Meteor Shower...?

Mesmers? Hexes?

Necromancer? Death/Blood Magic?

Not a very effective way to farm faction, as it's actually, not annoying...

It's a lot more efficient to farm faction in comp arenas...by actually killing people. I've seen these 'runners' or 'tankers' (warriors with no attack skills). My suggestion, simply leave, it's not worth your time or effort. It is not like they are recieving a huge faction reward for an arena win, especially since there will be few kills and no flawless. On the other hand, I commonly use a warrior with gale and sprint equipped, it's difficult to run when you're sitting on your arse.
